We recently installed hospital grade disinfection in our commercial air conditioning system. Manufactured locally in Thomastown by Australian Ultra Violet Services Pty Ltd, three UV-C lamps with a combined intensity of 29,000 microwatts (µW) destroy 99.9% of viruses and bacteria.
For example, the Influenza virus is destroyed when exposed to 6,600 µW (see attached document).
Thanks to the commercial Daikin Airconditioning System - chosen originally to minimise air speed and therefore noise - the air in the studio is filtered, cleaned and exchanged every 3 minutes.
We continue to use masks, clean surfaces before and after sessions and are providing hand sanitiser.
